5-week course on Infant Massage

When: March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2017 (Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm)

Cost: $100 for 5 sessions

Why learn to massage your baby?

Massage enhances communication and encourages fun interactions!
Relief – potential relief from teething, congestion, colic and gas.
Relaxation – massaging your baby is enjoyable and relaxing for you and baby. It may improve the quality of your baby’s sleep. 

Benefits for baby:
Promotes healthy growth and development.
Relaxing hormones released from touching help your baby relax and possibly sleep better.
Relief – touch can help reduce pain. Tummy strokes can help relieve discomfort from gas, colic and constipation.
Bonding – the touch and loving interaction promotes bonding. Your baby will grow to trust you and have a secure attachment.

Benefits for Parents:
Increase comfort and confidence in parenting skills.
Become more aware and responsive to baby’s cues.
Feel closer to baby and have a stronger parent-infant bond.
Ease parenting stress.

Babies, Mommies, Daddies and Primary Care Providers are invited to attend. 

Certificate of completion will be awarded on the last class session.
